These team members have consistently demonstrated outstanding performance, dedication, and a commitment to excellence that has made a lasting impact on HirePower.

Loredana Pirjol  
Program Manager 

Can you introduce yourself and describe your role as a Program Manager at HirePower?
Loredana, originally from Romania and currently living in the U.S. with my wonderful family. I have been with the Glass Family of Companies since 2013 and specifically with HirePower since 2021. In my role as Program Manager at HirePower, I like to say I focus on bridging our clients with our internal teams. My work centers around communication, planning, and guiding projects to ensure they align with our company’s goals and strengths. I also love creating connections across teams to help us work toward shared goals and make a meaningful impact together.

What does a typical day look like for you in this role?  
It varies, but a typical day includes coordinating with the other departments and teams, reviewing progress on any on-going projects, addressing any roadblocks, and strategizing to enhance program efficiency. I also prioritize communication to keep stakeholders updated on progress and next steps. 

 

What project or program are you most proud of during your time at HirePower?  
I enjoyed working on several programs, but the NYCHH project in 2022, during the height of COVID, is one I’ll always remember. It was both challenging and exciting - a real rollercoaster that taught me a great deal. 

 

How do you foster collaboration between different teams when managing large-scale programs?  
Teamwork and collaboration are essential to achieving positive outcomes. At the end of the day, we are all aligned in our goal to drive higher delivery results, especially on large-scale programs with added complexity. Keeping communication channels open, holding regular check-ins and updates, and following up promptly are key tools we use to keep everyone engaged and things moving forward. 

What’s the biggest challenge you’ve faced as a Program Manager, and how did you overcome it? 
One of the biggest challenges I faced is aligning priorities across various teams, especially on high-volume accounts with strict timelines. In these cases, I focus on clear, proactive communication: setting up chat groups to address questions, ideas, and concerns, and holding frequent meetings to foster transparency, clarify deliverables, and keep everyone on track - including the client. Often, part of the role involves educating the client on the realities of the market and what we are able to achieve within those constraints. 

What skills have been most important to your success in program management?  
I am not sure I would call myself a “success” in Program Management just yet, but I truly enjoy my role, and it has shaped who I am in many ways. I highly value relationships and am committed to delivering excellent service to both clients and internal teams with professionalism and kindness. One skill I have definitely honed over the years is adaptability—learning to adjust and respond to change effectively. Recently, I have been hearing a lot about the importance of a strategic approach, and I believe that comes from deeply understanding the market, our clients, and the company itself, so I make it a priority to keep learning in these areas. 

How would you describe the culture at HirePower, and how does it influence your work? 
We are a small team, but we genuinely enjoy working together. Everyone strives to be both supportive and proactive, which fosters a strong sense of collaboration and ongoing growth. This atmosphere has positively impacted my work, as it encourages us to contribute meaningfully to the projects we work on. 

What trends in talent acquisition are shaping how you manage programs at HirePower? 
Definitely data-driven decision-making. We rely on data to guide our approach, helping us identify where to focus and areas for improvement. 

What motivates you to excel in your role and keep things moving forward? 
Making a positive impact on our clients’ experiences, as well as within our team, genuinely gives me a warm feeling. We all thrive on seeing satisfied clients, strong scorecards, successful hires, and the positive changes in our contractors’ lives. That’s a powerful motivation for me. 

 

What are you most excited about in your role at HirePower for the coming months? 
As we wrap up the year, I am especially excited about onboarding some new clients. You never know when the next great project will come along, so we are keeping an open mind and focusing on delivering top-notch service.

Community Service: HirePower Volunteers at WHAM Food Drive - Houston, Texas

On September 14, 2024, Celeste Glass, President of HirePower,  and on On November 9th, Loredana Pirjol, Lead Program Manager for HirePower, along with members of our team, volunteered at the WHAM (West Houston Assistance Ministries) Food Drive. This vital organization serves over 130,000 residents in Houston each year, providing essential items to those in need.

Our participation underscores our commitment to community service and local initiatives. By dedicating their time and energy, our volunteers made a meaningful impact and offered critical support to individuals facing challenges. 

Let’s continue to embody this spirit of giving inin to all our endeavors. If you can make a positive impact, we encourage you to seize it—whether through volunteering, supporting a colleague, holding the door for someone, or simply sharing a kind word. Every small gesture matters.
