Lunar New Year Reflections and Revisiting 2024 Goals
Many of us started the new year with goals and aspirations as to what we would like to improve or do differently in 2024. As we start the month of February, we look forward to celebrating the Lunar New Year (Chinese New Year) which will happen on Saturday, February 10, 2024.
Lunar New Year begins on the date (in East Asia) of the second new Moon after the winter solstice, which always occurs in late December. This means that the first day of the Lunar New Year can occur anytime between January 21 and February 20.
With the ringing in of the Chinese New Year, we thought we would encourage you to revisit your New Year goals again. Unfortunately, research tells us that 80 percent of us will ditch them by mid-February. I hope it will help you recenter in 2024 be your best year ever! It’s important that we all remember that our life is a journey and that we are the captain in charge of the navigation and its many daily choices, not just the milestone goals that make life meaningful.
