HPP's Business History

In 2002, Celeste Glass was approached by former HPP Vice President, Leslie Woods, to pursue a staffing company. HirePower Personnel became incorporated in September 2002 by Ms. Glass. Prior to going into the staffing industry, she was a community activist, mother of four and entrepreneur. Although she had a full plate, she agreed to take on another job.

From 2003 to 2007, Ms. Woods attained HirePower Personnel’s first client and managed HPP’s day-to-day business.

In 2007, Ms. Glass decided to join Ms.Woods and focus her attention toward HPP. That same year, Ms. Glass hired a Recruiter, Rose Smith, and a Director of Sales to aid in expanding HPP.

HPP specializes in IT professional services as well as other industries. HPP now consists of a sales team lead by Greg Kaufman and a team of recruiters lead by Cindy Dunn. This company is a full service personnel agency offering contract, contract to hire, direct hire as well as full lifecycle project management. Since 2007, HPP has grown significantly due to the dedication of its staff.

HPP continues to serve their first client as well as has gained numerous other contracts. In 2010, HPP became a second tier vendor for Kelly Services. HPP currently has people staffed, through Kelly, in several Fortune 500 companies . HirePower Personnel is projecting growth in the years to come.
